A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Maitama has granted bail to former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele.
He was granted bail in the sum of N300 million and two sureties in like sum.
Justice Hamza Muazu, in a ruling on Wednesday, held that Emefiele should produce two sureties, who must have landed property in the Maitama District of the FCT.
This comes two weeks after another FCT High Court ordered his release in a fundamental human rights suit he instituted against the federal government.
The court adjourned till November 28 for the commencement of trial.
