We reported two days ago that Fact checking research-based firm, Africa Facts Zone said Nigeria has successfully tackled eight different deadly diseases which have ravaged different countries in the world.

Among the eight diseases is the current pandemic, Coronavirus, which has been eliminated from the country. Recall that only two cases were reported in Nigeria with the first being an Italian man and the second, a Nigerian.

Africa Facts Zone listed Coronavirus, Ebola, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, Zika Virus, West Nile Virus, Meningitis and Lassa Fever.

Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori has reacted to the report by blasting the country’s leaders for successfully tackling natural outbreaks but failing to tackle poor leadership, broken politics, bad governance and corruption.

Recall that Maikori earlier praised Nigeria for curtailing the spread of Coronavirus and called on foreign nations to learn from the African giant’s lessons and experiences.

The CEO of Choc City said: “.. we successfully tackled natural outbreaks / disasters but have failed to tackle corruption, poor leadership and a broken politics which are man made disasters eating into our immune systems.”
