Clients who paid me to book Shallipopi for event are threatening – Show Promoter cries out

A show promoter has claimed that he booked rising singer, Crown Uzama aka Shallipopi for a show in Ghana but he got arrested before the D-Day.

CorrectNG reported earlier that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested the artiste and his manager, Ajayi Hafeez for alleged internet fraud.

EFCC Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, said they were arrested alongside 29 other suspects, including four females.

In a video circulating online, the show promoter lamented about being threatened by the people that paid him to invite Shallipopi.

The young man said the clients are demanding a refund of the money and threatening his life if he fails to provide it.

He asked celebrities to use their connections and secure Shallipopi’s release so that he can at least show up to perform for the remaining days the show is meant to last.

He pleaded with Nigerians to come to his aide as he was scared that he could be harmed due to the unforseen situation.

Please Nigerians come to my aid, I borrowed money and paid Shallipopi to come and perform at my show in Ghana, now he has been arrested in Kaduna my show is ruined and the people that gave me the money have been on my neck to pay back their money please help, he said.
