CKay’s Love Nwantiti goes Platinum in US

Nigerian singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, known professionally as Ckay has hit another huge milestone with his globally recognised song, Love Nwantiti.

The track which was released in 2019 but became popular in 2020, has been certified Platinum in the United States.

Love Nwantiti achieved the feat by recoding a million sales in the US. Ckay act joins Wizkid and Tems as the only Nigerian artists to go platinum in the USA.

The viral hit song had initially been certified gold in the United States after selling over 500,000 copies, and in just less than ten months, it had been propelled to the status of platinum.

CKay also took to his Instagram story to celebrate the milestone achievement.
