Chris Brown to take Nigeria’s Ayra Starr on music tour

American R&B superstar, Chris Brown is set to take Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe alias Ayra Starr, on his 2024 North American tour.

It was made known in a recent social media post that the Mavin Princess will be accompanying the Grammy winner when he tours the United States of America and Canada.

The ‘Rush’ crooner and Muni Long will join Chris Brown as special guests on his “11:11” tour of both countries later this year.

The 26-city tour will kick off in Detriot on June 4 and will be making stops in Chicago, New York, Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles on August 6.

CorrectNG reported earlier that Ayra Starr has recounted how she met Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid for their collaboration.

She said during an interview that Wizkid’s official Disc Jockey, DJ Tunez is the one who linked them with each other.

The ‘Rush’ hit maker said Tunez is the person who reached out and informed her that Wizkid showed interest in featuring her on a song.

Ayra Starr said she was asked to go to the ‘Fever’ crooner’s studio for a recording session and they made the song, 2 Sugar.

According to the Mavin Princess, she was nervous when she was preparing to visit Wizzy’s studio but when she reached there everything became easy,

She said; “We were in LA and DJ Tunez, who is Wizkid’s official DJ, sent me a message to pull up to the studio, telling me that Wizkid wants to record with me. I was so nervous before I went to this session but when I got there it was so easy.”
