Michy Batshuayi and Fikayo Tomori scored in either half as Chelsea beat Championship side Hull to reach the FA Cup fifth round.
The Blues took an early lead when Batshuayi’s strike deflected off Hull’s Ryan Tafazolli and the ball flew beyond wrong-footed goalkeeper George Long.
Tomori in the second half, then got a second after Ross Barkley floated a wonderful free kick into box and he turned it in from close range.
Kamil Grosicki put the Blues in panic mode as he pulled one back for Hull City when his free-kick took a big deflection off Mateo Kovacic, to beat William Caballero in goal.
Chelsea however, held on to edge victory and ensure their place in Monday’s fifth-round draw.
