Chef Dammy begs fans for donation so she can hire military bodyguards (Video)

Buzzing Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi fondly called Chef Dammy has publicly appealed to her fans for funds for her to hire military men as bodyguards.

The 22-year-old student who revealed earlier that she has been receiving threats since she commenced and concluded her cook-a-thon asked people to help secure her welfare.

Dammy said she would deeply appreciate the gesture if people decided to donate towards her safety.

In a video circulating online, the chef urged people to consider all the factors surrounding why she made the plea.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti-based revealed that the money realised from her cook-a-thon is not yet up to the entire amount that was used to set up and coordinate the record-breaking attempt.

Dammy made this known while briefing the press on her plans to cook for 150 hours next month in a bid to break Chef Hilda Baci’s record of 93 hours 11 minutes.

She said all the monetary donations that she got during and after the event are still in her personal bank account.

Speaking further, Dammy revealed that she will, therefore, file an application with the Guinness World Records to make it official.

Dammy said; “All the money that came in for me is not yet up to the money that was used to start everything. And more than half of the supposed money that came in are still in my personal account.

“Finally, I know there have been many speculations about me not registering this just-concluded cooking, but my team and I have decided to embark on this new challenge next month.

“After the support I have received from fans, well-wishers, and many highly notable individuals in the society. I, Adeparusi Damilola popularly known as Chef Dammy and my team have decided to hold another cook-a-thon programme next month.

“This time, it will be held for a 150-hour, and it will be duly registered with Guinness World Records. Chef Dammy is coming back!”
