Nigerian comedian, Efe Warriboy has asked musician, BNXN formerly Buju to apologise properly to superstar singer, Davido for shading him.

It may be recalled that BNXN threw a shade at Davido while bantering with a fan of the DMW boss on Twitter (X) on Thursday night.

The tweep with username @lifeofolaa while reacting to a post about BNXN promoting a new artiste wrote; “He’s mid abeg.”

In response, the ‘Gwagwalada’ crooner stated that the man has no right speaking on anything music related being a fan of Davido.

Although he apologised, Efe said there is a need for artistes to start having reasonable team around them that will prevent them from throwing emotional tantrums.

The comedian who spoke in a trending video posted on social media, advised Buju to calm down and learn how to keep quiet at times because his actions might negativeky affect his artiste.

The actor and stand-up comedian said he was really disappointed with BNXN over what he did, because he is someone that he respected. Efe emphasised that Davido did not deserve the insult from him and he has put himself in a position that he could have avoided.

CorrectNG recalls that moments after Buju’s post went viral, a check on Davido’s page revealed he had deleted a tweet where he teased a collaboration with the singer.

Despite Davido’s reaction, BNXN vowed that he would still release the song even without his approval, stressing that he wrote everything, while also claiming that fans blew his tweet out of proportion.

However, top rapper, Dremo scolded him for the shade and pointed out how he should have known better than to tweet something that would generate controversy.

Dremo tweeted; “@BNXN that tweet was mad disrespectful bro, you can’t be tweeting like you don’t know fans will blow shit out of proportion cos you clearly knew what you were doing, there are different ways to defend your artiste.”

Quoting his tweet, the singer wrote: “No yawa. I’m sorry.”
