Buhari leaves for London again after receiving Chibok girls

After receiving the Chibok girls, the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari took to his twitter handle to tell Nigerians that he will be departing for London last night, 7th of May 2017.

“Tonight I leave for London, to see my doctors. When I came back in March, I hinted that there might be a need to return soon,for a follow-up” He wrote.

He further explained “I have sent the required letters regarding my trip to the Senate and House of Representative in line with Section 145(1) of the 1999 Constitution.”

“Vice President, Prof. Osinbajo will take charge in my absence. Government will continue to function smoothly and efficiently.”
