British rapper, Tion Wayne speaks Yoruba while rocking traditional attire (Video)

British rap artiste, Tion Wayne, has sparked reactions after being captured on tape speaking Yoruba language confidently.

The musician and his friends seemed to be heading for a traditional Nigerian wedding in the United Kingdom and they stepped out looking dapper in native attires.

Tion who was the centre of attraction moved closer to the camera and spoke a few words in Yoruba with accuracy.

He then showed off the Rolls Royce which as being used for the wedding, which they were attending as groomsmen. The groom could be seen wearing Isiagu close to the whip while holding a walking stick.

”Bawo ni? Showa Okay”, he said.

Meanwhile, a video which went viral last year captured the moment a man expressed shock and excitement after he spotted Tion Wayne in Lagos.

Tion, whose parents are Nigerians, had arrived Nigeria days ahead of superstar singer, Davido’s 10 years in music anniversary concert.

Though the concert has already taken place, it seems the UK artiste still wanted to connect to his roots to he stayed back to enjoy the sights and sounds.

A man spotted him chilling with some guys in Badagry, Lagos state and he exclaimed excitedly while filming the rapper whose real name is Dennis Junior Odunwo.

”Na Tion Wayne ooo, Tion Wayne from the Nile,” the young man said.
