British rapper, J Hus begs Obama to help him get American visa

British Hip Hop star, J Hus just tried to cash-in a favour from the former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

He took to Twitter on Friday, July 21 and appealed to the charismatic leader to assist him in securing his American visa.

The rapper’s plea came after Obama released his playlist for the summer with the first track being J Hus ‘Who Told You’ featuring Canadian artiste Drake.

The former US president shared the list and wrote; “Like I do every year, here are some songs I’ve been listening to this summer — a mix of old and new. Look forward to hearing what I’ve missed.”

In reaction, J Hus, whose real name is Momodou Lamin Jallow quoted the tweet and wrote; “My Milit 👊🏿 help me get a visa”

Nigerian music star, David ”Davido” Adeleke says having an American passport has made travelling overseas easier for him.

The US-born artiste stated this during an interview with Omega, adding that his blue passport is worth more than a million dollars.

Davido explained that when some members of his band are having difficulties with getting their visas to fly out for shows abroad, he always has an edge because of his passport. The ‘Unavailable’ crooner, however, expressed pride in being a Nigerian.

He said; That part of my life [being born abroad] didn’t come out until I blew up. People thought I live in Nigeria. It was later on in my career that people realised that I did Alabama college and stuff like that.

It wasn’t like I was introduced as an American artist in Nigeria. I’ve been in the streets back home. The only thing is that I could fly anytime I wanted, like go to America anytime I wanted. Till date, I don’t care how much money you’ve got, that blue passport is worth more than a million Dollars.

For example, we were going to Australia for a tour, to get the structure is so hard because some of my band members were having difficulties in getting the papers just because of their passports. But obviously, it’s kind of easier for me because of the blue passport.
