Nigerian singer and saxophonist, Seun Kuti, has mocked famous comedian Ayo Makun aka AY, while reacting to a skit released by comic act, Bovi.
The skit depicted a movie scene wherein Bovi acted as a police officer negotiating the release of some top Nigerian artistes who were kidnapped.
In the video, Bovi agreed to the dollar ransom demands for Wizkid and other musicians, made by kidnappers but when it reached Seun Kuti’s turn, he negotiated N250k.
Responding to the viral comedy skit, the singer who went on Instagram live praised Bovi as a witty and funny person while comparing him with comedian AY.
Seun Kuti said; “Oh, that Bovi skit, e no go better for Bovi. the guy no well, him be wan even do am for his show, him don tell me, Bovi is a funny guy, not like that other guy that is not funny. His name rhymes with Dakun, nowhere him no dey beg.”

CorrectNG reports that Seun Kuti has opened up on the reason he mocked comedian AY, when fire razed his multimillion-naira mansion in Lagos.
The Grammy-nominated artiste said he made fun of the comedian because when he (Seun) had issues withe police, AY cracked jokes with his ordeal.
He said; “They say I dey laugh Ayo Makun [AY] say him house burn. You know follow me often because people wey dey follow me often go tell say the day gangan wey the house burn, I went live.
As the house dey burn, as dem dey try quench the fire, I was on live. Except you sef when he [AY] dey portray my daughter as dog for his yeye skit video; dey take my trials and tribulations take make joke. He used my trials and tribulations to make joke. Not only that. He called my daughter a dog basically in his useless skit.
That unfunny modaf**ker. That dry goat with smelly mouth. His mouth dey smell. Ask anybody in the industry except they want to lie to you. My own daughter he portray as dog. That one wey dem beat his wife for house. No woman for his life go ever respect him because I’m sure his children have seen him beating his wife.”
