Big Brother Naija producing ‘role models’ with low moral values – Daniel Regha

Socio-political commentator, Daniel Regha has opined that Big Brother Naija has been producing celebrities with questionable moral values.

The social media critic said this while criticising the appearance of BBNaija ‘All Stars’ winner, Ilebaye Odiniya at Davido’s Martell party.

Ilebaye recently faced criticism for wearing a revealing dress at the party and flaunting her bodily assets without decorum.

Reacting, Regha said: “Ilebaye should have stayed at home if she had no better or decent outfit for the Martell Party; her dress was absolutely disgusting.

“Again, this is the type of role model BBNaija is producing and promoting—someone with low moral values. But it’s not her fault, though; Nigerians championed her.”

Meanwhile in another news…

Winner of Big Brother Naija 2019, Mercy Eke has said that she would not bother getting married if she had a child out of wedlock.

The reality TV star revealed that she is under pressure from her mother to find a husband and settle down, but she had contemplated having a baby through surrogacy.

Mercy Eke said if she gets a baby before marriage, she would give all her love to the child and not bother about relationships with men anymore.

According to the 33-year-old, she loves the western world because they usually do whatever they like even if it entails having a child through surrogacy and being a single parent.

She said: “I had said that I was gonna buy a baby. Not like buying a baby. Just get someone, take my eggs, get someone to be a sperm donor, hire a surrogate and have a beautiful baby.

“That is what I was thinking because [of] my mum and her village people. She’s always going from one traditional wedding to another.

“You know, when you had gone to one thousand traditional weddings, they are now asking, ‘When is your daughter doing her own?’ I said, ‘Mummy, nobody should pressure me o!’”
