Bella Shmurda, Odumodublvck run for their lives after cultists took over Poco Lee’s concert in LASU (Videos)

Nigerian artistes, Bella Shmurda and Odumodublvck were reportedly attacked on Thursday at the Lagos State University (LASU) main auditorium during a concert organised by celebrity dancer Poco Lee.

According to multiple reports, the homecoming concert was going well until suspected cultists stormed the venue to wreak havoc and destabilise the event.

Videos making the rounds online shows Bella Shmurda’s being rushed out of the hall with his face looking swollen and sore after he was allegedly slapped. Also, rapper, Odumodublvck was captured running out of the venue with Smada and members of his team.

An undisclosed number of persons were said to have been attacked and sustained injuries during the stampede. Singer Olabinjo Ayotunde Quam better known as T Dollar was also attacked when the music concert turned violent.

It was also gathered that several artistes and dancers fled the venue immediately after their performances, while some failed to show up for fear of being attacked.

In other news, a 32-year-old bus conductor identified as Benjamin Joseph, has bagged three months prison sentence for assaulting a police officer.

A Jos Magistrates’ Court convicted the defendant on Tuesday, June 4 and sent him to a correctional facility.

The Prosecutor, Inspector Ibrahim Gokwat told the court that the assault was reported on June 9 at the “C” Division Police Station by the officer.

According to him, the convict allegedly attacked the police officer on duty when he tried to stop him from causing traffic obstruction with his vehicle. He said the offence is punishable under the Plateau State Penal Code Law. Joseph pleaded guilty to the charge.

Magistrate Shawomi Bokkos, summarily tried and sentenced him. Bokkos said the sentence was without an option of fine, adding that the punishment would serve as a deterrent to other would-be offenders.
