Big Brother Naija star, Pere Egbi, has finally accepted the challenge thrown at him by colleague, Mike Edwards to have a boxing match.
CorrectNG recalls that in September, when Pere was still in the BBNaija [All Stars] house, Mike indicated interesting in having a bout with him when he leaves the show.
The athlete challenged the former U.S. military personnel to a fight after the altercation the latter had with Doyin which ended with him punching a hole in the wall.
Mike took to his Twitter page and wrote; “I’m challenging Pere to a boxing match when he gets out. I think that’s an even match up…
The General VS The President‼️What do you guys think? 🥊”
In response weeks later, the 38-year-old actor agreed to the fight and expressed readiness to meet the Nigerian born-British sprinter in the ring.
Pere wrote; “Oh yea? Okay @aireyys boxing match challenge accepted. See you in the ring soon. The General Vs The President. I hope you are ready…”
Mike participated in the 2019 edition of Big Brother themed Pepper Dem’ while Pere was in the Shine Ya Eye edition in 2021.
Interestingly, amid their exchange online, BBNaija star, Adekunle Olopade offered to render his services as a presenter and commentator on the day of the event.
“You have your show presenter and sports commentator here,” he tweeted.
