Big Brother has awarded all BBNaija season 5 housemates with Bitcoin Wallets containing $500 Worth Of Bitcoin after a successful presentation.
Biggie had asked them to work on their Patricia Bitcoin Task which involved charades, Question and answer on bitcoin and lastly, creating an original radio jingle.
The housemates successfully executed the task with little to no challange which saw them win $500 worth of bitcoins each from Big Brother.
Meanwhile, a Kwara state high court, has convicted and sentenced one Akinola Opeyemi and his accomplice, Owolabi Olajide to three months of community service for internet fraud.
In a statement by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, they are to sweep the Physics Department of the University of Ilorin and the premises of Saint Anthony Secondary School, Ilorin, for three months or pay N50,000 option of fine each.
Justice Sikiru Oyinloye, delivering his judgment, said; “I have carefully considered the evidence before the court, the exhibits tendered and the uncontroverted testimony of the prosecution witness
“This honourable court holds that the prosecution has proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt, the defendants are hereby convicted as charged.”
The statement by Oyewale noted that in sentencing the fraudsters to community service, the judge directed the Head of Physics Department, University of Ilorin and the Principal, Saint Anthony Secondary to issue an assessment letter on the convicts’ compliance with the judgment to the chief registrar of the Kwara State High Court, at the completion of their community service.
Justice Oyinloye, added that poor level of compliance would earn the convicts a direct six months imprisonment.
