BBNaija All Stars: Mercy deserves to win again – White Money

Former Big Brother Naija season 8 contestant, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as White Money, has said Mercy Eke deserves to win the N120 million grand prize despite previously winning ‘Pepper Dem’.

White Money, who won the Shine Ya Eye edition in 2021, stated this in a recent interview with TV personality, Hero Daniels.

He also chided those criticising him and Mercy for returning to the show to participate having emerged winners of their respective seasons.

Mercy Eke deserves to win

The brand ambassador used a sports analogy to explain why there is nothing wrong with the Imo-born diva clinching the grand prize again, this Sunday.

He said; “If you play a championship cup and win, you’d go home the next season and say don’t wanna play again? No, You have to keep winning.

“Mercy does deserve to win [the N120m grand prize]. If she wins it that’s good for her profile. It’s good for her prestige. It’s good for whatever she is trying to build. So, if she wins it again that would be very nice. No cap.”

In other news…

Reality TV star, Angel Smith has said that past male winners of the Big Brother Naija didn’t deserve to win their seasons.

She mentioned Miracle; winner of 2018 edition, Laycon; who won the 2020 season, and White Money, the 2021 winner, saying that there were more deserving women in their seasons that should have gone home with the grand prize.

Angel, who was evicted from All Stars on Sunday, bared her mind during her Diary session with Big Brother while in the house, as she argued the women were more entertaining as they brough the dram, intrigue and outfits those seasons.

She said; “I don’t think Laycon, Miracle and White Money deserved to win their seasons. Women brought all the drama, outfits and deserved to win those seasons, in my opinion.”

The runner-up in season 3 was Cee-C, while Dorathy was the runner up in season 5, and season 6 saw Liquorose being in the top two.
