B Lord to sponsor education of 19-yr-old girl unlawfully detained in prison for months

Executive Chairman and Founder of B-Lord Group, Linus Williams Ifejika popularly known as B Lord, has pledged to train a 19-year-old girl, Kosisochukwu Obaji, to the university as she regains her freedom after being unlawfully arrested.

It was gathered that Kosisochukwu was arrested in January 2023 over a undisclosed matter and she’s been in detention for three months.

Activist and lawmaker-elect, Harrison Gwamnishu recently secured her release from the Onitsha Custodial Centre in Anambra state.

BLord, on finding out about hearing her unfortunate situation, pledged to sponsor the 19 years old girl to University.

He said he will include Kosi in a newly launched scholarship scheme and sponsor her to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, (UNIZIK), Akwa, no matter her course of choice.

The businessman made this known through his official Instagram page and shared a video which captures when the teenage girl was released from prison.

He wrote; “I Heard She was Just released from prison , A 19 Year Old In Prison ??? She said she wanna go back to school, That made me smile , @blordgroup has decided to add her to our scholarship scheme to study in Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka.

I wish her goodluck , Cant wait to see her on monday at the blordgroup Headquarters , God bless you @harrison_gwamnishu and big love to kosisochukwu.”

CorrectNG reported recently that B Lord announced the launch of a scholarship programme for members of his community.

The indigene of Ebenebe, Anambra state said he will be sponsoring people from his hometown who wish to write JAMB, NECO, WAEC and other University entrance exams.

BLord asked those who are eligible and interested to contact him via email. He said that he needs 50 to 100 people to apply, that they only have 10 beneficiaries so far and whatever course they wish to study must be at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

“If you are from ebenebe and you dropped out and you need money for Jamb form, waec or neco contact the email on my bio, my team will reply immediately, Scholarship till you are done with school, only 10 people have applied we’d like 50 need like 50 to 100. You must come from my village you must attend unizik, so my team will also monitor you,” he wrote.
