A Nigerian businessman and realtor has said single men in the country who are thinking of settling down can do so if they earn up to N50k monthly in the current economy.
He advised bachelors to not wait until they make money before they find a woman and start a family as not everyone will end up being rich.
According to him, Nigerian guys think they don’t earn enough to get married but when they eventually start earning more, they still choose not to marry.
Speaking in a trending video on TikTok, he expressed the belief that most men spend lavishly, however, getting married to a good woman would help curtail that.
The man noted that he observed women are good spenders and know how to manage a home so once they get become a family, irrespective of the salary, they plan well.
He advised the unmarried men to find only good women for this cause and not the ones who believe they cannot suffer with a man in the institution called marriage.
He said; “If you can comfortably earn up to N50,000 in a month, you are ripe and fit enough to get married because no matter how much you have, even though you earn up to one million naira if you don’t know how to manage your expenses it will never be enough… And as a man the earlier you get married, the better for you.”
