Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are said to have begun negotiations with French giants, Paris Saint-Germain over a possible transfer for defender, Layvin Kurzawa.
According to French media outlets, RMC Sport, Mikel Arteta is focused on patching up the Gunners’ defense following their struggle this campaign as they’ve kept just four clean sheets in 22 league matches.
Arsenal have also been hit with numerous injuries this season as new signing Kieran Tierney have ensured Sead Kolasinac has had to take over duties at the left-back position. But with the Bosnian’s recent thigh strain injury, as well as Hector Bellerin’s hamstring, Arsenal would definitely be left to source for more defensive help.
Kurzawa’s contract with PSG expires in the summer, meaning he would be able to join on a free transfer in six months’ time if the two clubs agree terms, although Arteta would be looking to make a possible January purchase.
Arsenal are believed to have offered a five-year contract to Kurzawa, who is described as being keen on a move to England.
