Area boys nearly attacked me because they thought I’m Naira Marley’s father – Jude Chukwuka (Video)
Nigerian actor, Jude Chukwuka has revealed that he was accosted by a group of youths who believed he is the father of controversial rapper, Naira Marley.
The veteran thespian said he went to Ikorodu in Lagos state for a movie shoot when area boys surrounded him and said his son, Marley was responsible for the death of Mohbad.
Chukwuka, nicknamed Marlian daddy, went viral years ago over a video of him dancing to the ‘Soapy’ crooner’s song. He shared his scary experience during an interview on Oyinmomo TV hosted by gospel artiste, Deborah Ajayi.
He said he explained to the area boys that he cannot be the artiste’s father because their names are different, and any issues Naira Marley had with Mohbad did not involve him.
“When I went to Ikorodu for a shoot, a lot of people gathered around me to say it is my child that killed Mohbad,” Chukwuka said in part.

Mother of late musician, Mohbad, Mrs. Promise Aloba, revealed earlier that her son informed her about his former record label, boss, Naira Marley’s actions.
She said Mohbad said he had been receiving threats from Marley and he always received beatings from Sam Larry after he left Marlian Music Records in 2022.
The late singer’s mum said her son begged her to guide him so that he will not be killed by those who were attacking him. The grieving woman then called on the Senate and Nigerians to ensure that the Marlian Music founder is arrested.
“I know my son; he told me that Naira Marley usually threatened him. Please, Nigerians, help me to look for him; please have mercy on me; that is all you can do for me. I cannot singlehandedly fish him out. Also, he told me the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) gave him some water in a bottle to drink sometimes ago. Help me please.
“My son was always beaten. Even he was mentioning Sam Larry, l don’t know them. They enslaved my son. He was always telling me to guide him so he would not be killed, these were all he was saying until they finally killed him. Please help me,” she said.
