Any doctrine of dressing that can only be enforced in the Nigerian branch of a ministry is not the doctrine of Christ – Man says
A Nigerian Consultant and Vocal coach, Kunle Kenny has shared his thoughts on the doctrine practiced by churches in Nigeria which requires their members to dress a certain way.
Kunle directed his two cents to Pentecostal churches in Nigeria with international branches.
According to him, any doctrine which ensures that dressing a particular way is enforced in the Nigerian branch of churches but not in their foreign branches, is not a doctrine of Jesus Christ.
He noted that the doctrine of Christ is not practiced based on geographical location, adding that God cannot be against trousers or makeup in Nigeria and permit such abroad.
Kunle wrote;
”Any doctrine on dressing that can only be enforced in the Nigerian branch of a ministry and not all over the world, is not the doctrine of Christ.
The Doctrine of Christ is not location-based. God cannot be against trousers/make-up and wigs in Nigeria and permit it abroad.”
