Angry fans rain insults on Wizkid for failing to show up to his headline concert in Ghana (Video)

Nigerian music star, Wizkid’s fans in Ghana have gone online to call him out for keeping them waiting endlessly at his headline concert.

The singer was billed to perform at a show in Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 10th 2022, but attendees said he did not show up.

Fans took to their various social media pages and rained insults on Starboy for being disrespectful by not even honouring them with his presence.

A furious man known as Adisin Clintin said he waited from 4pm till 4am and Wizzy did not show up nor convey a reason for his absence.

Videos making the rounds online shows music lovers in and outside the stadium at night anticipating the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner’s arrival and the moment they sadly left in the morning when he failed to appear.

A lady identified as Amaka expressed disappointment that Wizkid did not come for the show even though he lives in Ghana.

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported yesterday that Ghanaian media personality, Marcoli has trolled Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun also known as Wizkid.

He took to his Twitter page and mocked Wizkid, saying the artiste was unable to sell out the tickets for his show at the 40,000-capacity Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.

Marcoli juxtaposed his show at Madison Square Garden which was totally sold out with the Accra concert that he claims could barely make complete sales.

The show which is holding today, December 10th was organised by Live Hub Entertainment in conjunction with Starboy Entertainment, Rave and Finali Group Entertainment.

According to the Ghanaian TV anchor, he had always doubted the reports of Big Wiz selling out concerts with ease.

He tweeted; ”Wizkid sells O2Arena in seconds but can’t sellout Accra Sports Stadium in a Month?😂 I said it.”
