The Super Eagles have defeated South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in the Semi-final clash on Wednesday at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake, Ivory Coast.
Nigeria won 4-2 on penalties after tying 1-1 in the regular play. This means the three time AFCON champions has secured its spot in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali was the hero of the night as he saved two penalty kicks. Nigeria will now face either DR Congo or hosts Ivory Coast in the finals.
