A man and his wife are currently in a state of confusion and fear as an unidentified motorcycle rider stole their three children in Amaba Ime Oboro, Ikwuano LGA of Abia state.
The mother, Mrs Glory Osinachi said her kids, named Gideon Osinachi (8 years), Divine Osinachi (6 years) Israel Osinachi (4 years) were disappeared with the man on Friday and had been taken to an unknown location.
The distraught woman, recalled how her children visited their grandmother’s home in Amaba Ime community on the same day of their disappearance after returning from school.
Mrs Osinachi, who said the incident has been reported to the Police in Ikwuano, called on all security agencies and the general public to assist the family in recovering her missing children. The first child, Gideon is a primary two pupil, while Divine and Israel are both in Nursery 3 and 1 respectively.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Abia State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka confirmed that the incident was reported to the Divisional Police Headquarters covering the area of the incident.
“The matter was reported at the Police Divisional Headquarters covering that area and investigation is ongoing,” she said.
The Police spokesperson, however, said that the mother of the missing children was yet to bring the picture of her missing kids to the Police.
