Having a celebrity as a parents is automatic tutoring on how to act and carry yourself as a famous person. These categories of persons usually get 100 percent support from their parents to start a career in the entertainment industry unlike other celebrities whose parents discouraged them from entering or venturing into the entertainment industry.

5. Femi Kuti

Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti popularly known as Femi Kuti, is a Nigerian musician born in London and raised in Lagos. He is the eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and a grandchild of political campaigner, women’s rights activist and traditional aristocrat Funmilayo Ransome Kuti.

His father late Fela Kuti, was regarded as one of the greatest anti-government musician. Femi Kuti was born on 16th June 1962 in London, United Kingdom.

Femi Kuti takes after his father Fela Kuti and in 1977 at the age of 15 years old, he started playing the saxophone and eventually became a member of his father’s band. Like his father, Femi Kuti has commitment to social and political causes throughout his career. Just like his father, Femi Kuti began his musical career playing in his father’s band, Egypt 80. In 1986, Femi started his own band, Positive Force, establishing himself as an artist independent of his father’s massive legacy.

Femi has come under heavy criticism just like his late father, there have been complaints of Kuti’s criticism of his homeland Nigeria, specifically in the song “Sorry Sorry”,[5] along with “What Will Tomorrow Bring” and “97”. Remember his late father was imprisoned by the Nigerian military government in the early 70s and was later released. Fela Kuti during his music career was regarded as a political crusader who attacks bad governments in Nigeria.

4. Regina Daniels 

Regina Daniels is a Nigerian actress and film producer and the daughter of Nollywood actress Rita Daniels who is also the chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Delta State chapter. She started acting at the age of seven. She got support from her mother and her siblings. Her first movie was Marriage of Sorrow. Regina Daniels came into limelight when she featured in a Nollywood movie titled “Miracle Child” in 2010 where she acted alongside popular actors like Ini Edo, Chika Ike and Mercy Johnson.

Regina Daniels and her mother Rita Daniels both hail from Ogwashi-Ukwu, a small town in Delta State in the south southern part of Nigeria. Rita Daniels is a mother of four children while Regina Daniels is her third child and first daughter.

Rita Daniels became famous after successfully nurturing her daughter Regina Daniels from an ordinary girl to a Nollywood mega super star. Regina is a celebrity while her mother Rita Daniels is also a celebrity.

3. Dr Sid

Sidney Onoriode Esiri known commonly as, Dr SID is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. He is an Urhobo from Delta state but raised in Lagos. His mother a successful fashion designer and his father the legendary actor late Justus Esiri who died few years ago due to kidney failure.

Sidney was born on 1st May 1980 in Ikeja, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is currently 39 years old.

Dr Sid is the second child out of the 4 children of late Justus Esiri. Right from a very tender age, Dr Sid had his heart set on becoming an entertainer. After graduating secondary school, he however went on to study Dental Surgery. In 2004, Dr SID became a qualified Dentist. He moved to the UK working with the likes of JJC & the 419 squad, Felix Duke, KAS, R70 and D’Banj. Returning to Nigeria he spent the Next year working at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, while also exploring his passion for entertainment. 

His father Justus Esiri, before his death was regarded as one of the greatest actor in Nollywood. Justus Esiri has appeared in many blockbuster movies and he won several awards in his time.

2. Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie is is a Nigerian actor, named after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner and the son of Nollywood legend “Pete Edochie”.  Yul Edochie speaks exactly like his father and no one can deny the fact that he is the son of Nollywood legend Pete Edochie.

Both father and son hail from Anambra state Nigeria. He was raised both in Lagos and Enugu. He is the last of 6 children. He got married at the age of 22.[7][8] He attended the University of Port Harcourt, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.

He Joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first film titled “The Exquires” alongside the Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. He got his break in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the movie “Wind Of Glory.

Yul is also a movie director and a politician. In 2017, he contested for Governor of Anambra State and lost to his opponent Willie Obiano. In 2015, Yul Edochie opened a film academy in Lagos.

He got married to May Yul in 2004 at the age of 22 years old and the marriage is currently blessed with a beautiful kid. His father Pete Edochie was born on 7th March 1947 in Enugu, Nigeria. He is currently 72 years old. Pete Edochie had his primary and secondary school education in Zaria, Kaduna State in the northern part of Nigeria. He is considered as one of Africa’s most talented actors and a legend in the field of acting. He has being honored with several awards.

1. Clearance Peter

Clarence Abiodun Peters popularly known as clearance peters is a Nigerian music video director, filmmaker and cinematographer. He is the founder and CEO of Capital Dream Pictures, a production company that specialises in the realms of the performing arts, film and video. He is also the founder and CEO of Capital Hill Records. He is the son of Nollywood famous actress Clarion Chukwura. 

Peters was born into a prominent family. He is the son of Sir Shina Peters, a musician, and Clarion Chukwura, an actress. His mother opened up about wanting to abort him while he was in her womb, but changed her mind because of her belief that Peters was the reincarnation of her father who she lost when she was 11 years old.

Clarence Peters has directed music videos for top recording artists like Wizkid, Davido, Flavour, Olamide, Phyno, Chidinma, Tiwa Savage and a host of other top Nigerian celebrities. He is regarded as the best music video director in Nigeria. 

His mother Clarion Chukwura is a famous Nollywood veteran actress. She has starred in movies like Abuja Connection, Egg of Life, amongst others.
