A controversial prophet, Adelana Adekunle Solomon popularly known as Oba Solomon, has said any presidential candidate thinking of taking the All Progressives Congress (APC) to court is only wasting their time.
His statement comes after the APC candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared president-elect.
Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced Tinubu’s victory in the early hours of Wednesday at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.
“That Tinubu Bola Ahmed of the APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” Mahmood declared.
Tinubu came out tops in 12 of Nigeria’s 36 states, and secured significant numbers in several other states to claim the highest number of votes; 8,794,726.
Speaking on the decision of some parties to challenge the result, Oba Solomon said the ruling party cannot lose a court case because they have a stronghold on Nigeria.
The popular social media cleric, who spoke in Yoruba stated that the solution is to take the matter to deities, Sango or Ayelala.
He said; “APC has a stronghold on Nigeria, taking them to court is a complete waste of time, if you have a problem with them, the best solution is to report APC to Ayelala or Sango”
