How to check your WAEC Result both online and offline using a USSD code

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Monday, released the result of May/June 2017 West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, WASSCE.

Below are stats about the result and a quick way to check it on desktop or mobile.

13.79% of the candidates that wrote the exams had their results withheld, while a 59.22% pass in English Language and Mathematics was recorded.

A total of 1,559,162 candidates sat for the examination. [AdSense-A]

Step 1: www.waecdirect.org.
Step 2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4112002012)
Step 3. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2017
Step 4. Select the Type of Examination
Step 5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
Step 6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up [AdSense-B]

How to use your mobile phone (Offline method)
Send SMS in the format below:
WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
To short-code 32327 (MTN, Celtel & Glo subscribers)
For example -:
WAEC*4112002012*123456789012*2017

Note:
Ensure you adhere strictly to the format above. There should be no space in the message.
Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)
