14 ways to keep your vagina fresh at all times

The female vagina is a sensitive part in a woman’s body. It should be taken care of in same way and manner we pay attention to our facial routine. Some women have more vagina odors than others and they feel very embarrassed by this fact. These odors are often caused by an imbalance in the vagina flora, but other factors may well be the cause.

It is important to pay special attention to day to day hygiene when it comes to this female area. It’s our most sensitive organ, after all. It also important to note that each female vagina has its own smell, your vagina is not supposed to smell like roses, stop dumping harmful chemicals inside.

The vagina is designed to keep itself clean with the help of natural secretions. You do not have to use any products to make it smell good. There are lots of bacterial inside the vagina and they are there to protect it.

It is a very bad and unhygienic habit to use one pad or tampon for a whole day. Your pad or tampon should be changed at least every 5 hours depending on the heaviness of your flow. Always change your pads. Carry them along with you. It’s ok to sleep in them, but be sure to change to a fresh one when you wake up.

It’s a good idea to avoid perfumed gels, antiseptics and soaps as these can affect the balance of bacterial and pH level in the vagina. This can also cause irritation. When choosing from a feminine hygiene wash available in the market, do look for those with no scent. Products that contain strong scents, no matter how hypo-allergenic they claim to be, can cause infections which leads to itching, swelling and foul-smelling discharge. This unbalances the pH system and can cause the vagina to become acidic, leaving it unable to clean itself, and open to more bacteria and infections.

Make it a habit to wash your vagina before and after sex. Do not use scented soap as it can cause drying and irritation. You can get a feminine wash that is scent and soap free. Always treat the vagina with care while bathing, pamper and wash her good but do not scrub too hard.

It is very disgusting when ladies use the restroom and don’t wipe afterwards. The pee alone can make your vagina stink. Gross!!! Always take a pocket tissue with you when going out and don’t forget to keep your lady part clean after using the toilet.

The female vagina is elastic in shape and has the ability to contrast and return back to its original size no matter how many times you engage in sexual activities. Do not be deceived into buying products that might end up causing more problems for you.

Wiping from front to back lessens the odds that bacteria from your rectum will wind up near your vagina or urethra. Bacteria near the rectum is fine when it stays near the rectum. Elsewhere, it can lead to infections and irritation.
