10-year-old boy sells all his toys to buy Christmas presents for his mum (Video)

A British kid’s thoughtful gesture towards making the Christmas a memorable and special one or his mother has melted hearts.

The 10-year-old boy put all his toys up for sale so that he could buy presents for his mum this festive season.

A video making the rounds on social media shows when a Good Samaritan who described the boy as a legend, decided to pay for everything.

The young man commended the kid for doing something ‘absolutely amazing’ and gave him 200 pounds as a way of supporting his fundraiser.

He first bought the toys for 100 Pounds so that he could fulfil his wish, after which the TikToker handed him another 100 Pounds to get something for himself.

The boy initiallyrefused to collect the second money, but the man insisted and proceeded to ask him to put the toys in his car.

Similarly, a Nigerian man recently took to microblogging platform, Twitter to celebrate his wife for doing the unexpected for the family.

He revealed that she came back home with a large quantity of foodstuff which she transported using a keke napep (tricycle).

The husband known as @iamKristil said he was in the living room watching Television when he heard the sound of the keke outside only for him to see his wife alight with loads of provision.

According to him, she runs a tailoring establishment and it is the money she has been contributing from her shop since the beginning of the year that she used to buy the items.

He explained that she made him realise all the goodies was for their family to celebrate this Christmas season.

He expressed shock over what his wife did because he had been thinking of how to make the festive season a memorable one.

@iamKristil prayed for his woman and others like her who do similar things for their family.

Sharing a photo of the food stuff, he wrote; ”I dey parlour dey watch tv, I hear keke sound for our domot, my mind think say them bring cement for my Landlord wey dey build house. Next thing i hear na my wife voice, calling me.

People of God!! I went downstairs, na weytin this woman buy for Christmas be this. She say na money she don dey contribute from her shop from January she use buy them.

I’m in total shock…. Son of man wey don dey reason how this Christmas wan be. Oh God!! I nearly cry…. May God bless us all with wonderful women.”
