Famous online activist, Martins Otse also known as VeryDarkman recently accused music executive, Ubi Franklin of defrauding an upcoming artiste using music star, Davido’s name.
But the Triple MG boss reacted with a terse statement hinting that he will not give room for anybody to tarnish his image or ruin the year for him.
VeryDarkman had narrated how a promising singer and his manager reached out to Ubi Franklin to help him get a good feature for his music.
In a viral video, the activist said Franklin asked the musician and his manager and to send him N2 million as proof of their seriousness. VDM also claimed that the music executive asked to send another N5 million so he could speak to Davido to hop on a song with the young artiste.
Furthemore, he said Ubi Franklin promised to help the upcoming artist obtain an American visa to see the DMW boss as well after collecting a total of N10.5m from them.
VeryDarkman wrote; “Ubi franklin you are a tiff, obtaining under false pretenses under the law is stealing,na all of una dey follow use Davido name dey scam people, I give you till 10pm if I no hear anything EFCC go pick you oooo @ubifranklinofficial jejely pay back because you can obviously not get Davido on a song so oya”
In response through his Instagram page, Ubi Franklin made it known that he is unfazed by any scandal in the new year. He promised that 2024 would be a prosperous year for him.
He wrote; “I ain’t tripping, it’s going to be a good year“.
