The ‘MJ’ crooner said: “As an artiste you cannot depend on music streams because it is not substantial. Most of the earnings from music streams are reinvested on promotion.

“So, what I do is go on tours. I’m always trying to get Visas to tour different countries. I have been touring for over a year now. So I advised my colleagues to make more money from shows and seek sponsorships.”

CorrectNG reported earlier that Budding Nigerian singer, Crown Uzama also known as Shallipopi fumed at an upcoming singer, Ebaide, over allegations that he spent N9 million on streaming farm.

The lady claimed that a digital marketer who offered to promote her music referenced the ‘Elon Musk’ crooner as one of their clients that was satisfied with their services.

In a voice note she shared, the promoter said Shallipopi gave them N9 million because he wanted to be on Apple Music charts and ‘blow’ as soon as possible.

Ebaide said the company promised to give her 100,000 reach on streaming platforms if she pays N300k-N400k and she fell for the ‘scam’ because they claimed to have used the same strategy to help Shallipopi get massive streams.

Reacting to the allegation, Shallipopi lambasted Ebaide and said her claim is fake as he does not need to pay for streaming.

He noted that if he had N9million, he will use it to chill while letting his fanbase stream his music. The singer also said that the songstress was doing it to get attention and karma will come for her.

Quoting the post, he wrote; “Fake!! Y’all looking for attention with the wrong contents and think it’s right? 9m wey I go take chill make I leave Plutomanias to Dey stream!! Anyways your karma is coming.”
