Sowore reunites with his family in America after four years apart (Photos/Video)

Presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) in 2023, Omoyele Sowore, has rejoiced as he finally reunites with his family in the United States of America.

This comes days after a Federal High Court in Abuja struck out the treasonable felony charges proffered against Sowore by the federal government.

Justice Emeka Nwite ordered the release of the human rights activist’s passport, four years after it was seized and he was barred from leaving Nigeria.

Recall that in 2019, the Department of State Services had arrested Sowore in the build-up to the #RevolutionNow protest, accusing him of seeking to overthrow the then incumbent government.

30 days later, the apex government filed seven charges of fraud, cyber-stalking, and treasonable felony against Sowore on September 20, 2019.

Sowore finally reunites with his family in America

However, the FG re-arraigned Sowore and Bakare on two charges of treasonable felony on February 13, 2020.

Following the court’sorder, Sowore announced that he has arrived USA and met with membets of his family and friends.

He shared some photos with the caption; “I am finally back in the US, reunited with my family and friends! #RevolutionNow”
