Ruger says he’s reconciling with people he fought with

Budding singer and songwriter, Ruger has revealed that he is currently making amends with the people he’s had some rift with, in the past.

The award-winning artiste made this known in the first music released under his newly launched record label, days after exiting D’Prince’s Jonzing World records.

Ruger dropped a freestyle under the banner of his label, Blown Boy Entertainment and he disclosed that he is no longer fighting any of his colleagues.

“I’m now settling with the ones I fought with. I’m not fighting all the nggas I fxcked with,” he sang in the freestyle titled ‘Blownboy’.

Recall that Ruger had been involved in a couple of industry beefs including his rivalry with his colleague, BNXN, formerly known as Buju.

Meanwhile, the ‘Asiwaju’ crooner earlier caused a stir online when he declared that he is no longer loyal to ‘some godfather’ in the music industry.

He denounced loyalty to an undisclosed godfather in a trending video while stating that this year is all about himself.

Ruger dropped these words in a freestyle titled ‘Blownboy’ whiile announcing his exit from Jonzing World through Instagram on February 6.

In the freestyle, the singer, however, said he was grateful to the record label and D’Prince but it is time for him to take a bet on himself.

“I denounce every loyalty to some godfather, this year I’m about me,” Ruger sang.

CorrectNG reported earlier that Ruger, whose real name is Michael Adebayo Olayinka stated that contrary to widespread belief, blogger Tunde Ednut was the person who discovered him.

The 24-year-old singer said after the blogger discovered him, he got introduced to his former boss, D’Prince who then signed him to his record label, Jonzing World.

Ruger revealed this via his Instagram story shortly after exiting Jonzing World and launching his own music label, Blown Boy Entertainment.

He wrote: “Just because I’m free to talk now, I want to specially thank @mazitundeednut for being the initial person that discovered me before handing me over to the Prince. God bless you, king maker.”
