Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has said that Phil Foden is his Premier League Player of the 2023/24 Season.
Foden, who plays in midfield, has been impressive for Man City so far this season. The England international scored a brace in Man City’s last Premier League victory against Manchester United.
According to Manchester Evening News, when asked whether the City star is the player of the season so far, Ferdinand said; “I would say yes. He is in that mix, definitely. When you think about Player of the Season, who else is there? No one is jumping off the page.”

The Nottingham Forest fullback was grouped as one of Nigeria’s finest players at the tournment and received accolades for his quality on and off the ball.
When reporters asked whom he thinks deserves the most skill player tag among Super Eagles players he mentioned AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze.
In response to whether he was the most talented in the squad, Aina replied; “I don’t know. I don’t think so”.
When pressed further on who was the most skilful player, Aina added; “Samuel Chukwueze. Yeah, I think it’s Samuel.”
