Police vow to arrest young mother who fed her toddler alcohol in viral video

The Nigeria Police Force has vowed to arrest a young woman who recently went viral on social media for giving her baby an alcoholic drink.

In a video making the rounds, mother could be seen sitting on a bench with her child and force-feeding her with a bottle of beer.

Online users are enraged after a Nigerian lady was spotted in a widely circulated video feeding beer to her little baby.

In the video, the lady was captured giving her toddler a local beer, which sparked widespread condemnation and concern from online users.

This sparked outrage and Nigerians on social media drew the attention of police to the unacceptable act, lamenting the increasing prevalence of negligent parenting in society.

Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said what the woman did in the video clip, is a barbaric and evil. He charged the police to ensure that she is located and prosecuted in accordance with the law.

He wrote on Twitter: “Another assignment for us. This is too bad. We will fish her out l. Thanks. @PoliceNG. It’s barbaric and evil. A baby?”

Reacting, an online user, BLAK JEWEL said: Tragedy gives birth to calamity, the inescapable relationship of misfortune.
