Earlier today, we published a video where popular reverend father, Fr. Mbaka, was publicly humiliating Peter Obi, the vice presidential candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming presidential election, for refusing to donate money to his ministry. The caused quite a stir online as many took to social media to blast the controversial reverend father.

Peter Obi has now reacted following the attacks on Fr. Mbaka and has said he has no ill feelings toward Rev Ejike Mbaka for his predictions.

The vice presidential candidate in a statement issued through his media aide, Val Obienyem, said he has no ill feelings toward the clergy man for his predictions, The Punch reports.

Obi said rather than criticise Mbaka for his declarations, Nigerians should always remember their priests in prayers. The politician noted that the cleric had always spoken from the higher perspective of wisdom.

The vice presidential candidate says he has respect for men of God and will always remembers them in his prayers.

”Please let us leave Fr. Mbaka alone; our duty to him is prayers for God to lead him aright,” Obi said.

“While one may disagree with him, we should always acknowledge that he speaks and acts from the higher perspective of wisdom.”

“I have full respect for men of God and will always remember them in my prayers. When they go wrong as humans, subject to human frailties, ours is not to castigate them, but to pray to God to lead them aright.”

That is that… However in another gist, controversial Nigerian OAP, Daddy Freeze, has in his usual way called out the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, for a banner encouraging members to pay tithe.

On the banner can be seen a thief pointing a g_un at a man’s head.

The text on the banner reads:

“Don’t be a robber! Pay your tithe.”

Freeze, who has always spoken against paying of tithes, criticized RCCG for the banner and then proposed a debate about tithe with the church’s general overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

Daddy Freeze wrote;

And they say pastors don’t hold guns to member’s heads.. Please can someone explain what is RCCG is doing in this picture?©

Tithe is a false doctrine for Christianity, I have proven this scripturally several times! Christ NEVER collected tithes, neither did his disciples!

I have challenged their GO Enoch, to a debate on this several times to no avail. if he is doesn’t want a debate, we can sit over a beer and discuss the scriptures and I can offer to teach him the real truth about Christ for free! —FRZ
