So this is trending on Twitter now. A young Nigerian man identified on the platform as BABA ALI @itzfresh_aa, tweeted MTN to block a N50 weekly subscription that was wrongly giving users 5GB of data because it didn’t work on his SIM. Apparently, there was a N50 Wechat weekly bundle that was wrongly giving MTN users 5GB of data to surf the internet without the knowledge of the network provider.

According to Baba Ali, he tried to do it on his SIM card but it didn’t work for him meanwhile his friends have up to 30GB, so he reached out to MTN on Twitter to inform them and call on them to block it, and from information we got on social media, it has been blocked.

However, MTN replied him and asked him to provide one of the phone numbers of his friends using it to aid their investigation.
