Promising Nigerian actress, Toluwani George has revealed the positive way she reacts to criticism from family and friends regarding her acting career.

The beautiful screen diva said every rejection she gets serves as a source of motivation for her to keep getting better at what she does.

Toluwani made this known in a recent interview with The Punch while talking about her personal life, career and a range of other issues.

In her words; “Every rejection is a motivation to get better and aim higher. It will not always be a bed of roses, and it’s all part of the journey. In dealing with people and the attention I get, I try to always be myself, which means being authentic while still showing love and respect for the people who show me love and support me.”

The Nollywood diva also appreciated her family, close friends and associates for being supportive because they give her the courage she needs to pursue her career path.

Furthermore, she noted how they help her prepare for auditions while still giving constructive criticisms in the necessary areas and also dishing words of affirmation.

Toluwani added; “I can categorically say I have the best people in my corner, in terms of family and support systems. They gave me the courage I needed to pursue this career path. They are the ones that support my work by sharing and promoting me in every way they can.

The prayers and encouragement are never-ending, helping me prepare for auditions and giving constructive criticisms where necessary. The advice and words of affirmations just make everything better. The list is endless, and indeed, they have been a blessing.”
