A woman believed be the sister of Mohbad’s father has alleged that the late singer’s mother got pregnant for another man many years ago and abandoned her family.
She said when Mohbad was 8 years old, his mum left him and his siblings with her husband and vanished without any information on her whereabouts.
In a trending video shared by influencer, Dami Adenuga, the woman said she has many details about the condemnable things that Mrs Promise Aloba did in the past.
CorrectNG recalls that the mother of Mohbad revealed her relationship with him was not cordial for a long time.

The singer’s death has been generating controversies, prompting the Lagos State Government to direct a coroner’s inquest into the death.
Mrs Aloba told the coroner’s court the reason she and Mohbad have a sour relationship is because her husband took him away and instructed him not to contact her. She, however, added that she began to relate better with him in 2019.
She testified before Magistrate Adedayo Shotobia during the Coroner’s inquest into the death of Mohbad.
She further revealed that when her son fell out with his former boss, Naira Marley, she and her husband visited the Marlian Music CEO’s residence to ask him why they were having dispute.
“I asked Mohbad to call Pasuma to report Naira Marley because of the consistent beating, and Pasuma said he would intervene. Mohbad kept on cautioning me not to talk. I only got to know about the injury four days after, and the only person he had issues with is Naira Marley. The only complaint from the wife about him was infidelity,” she explained.
