Man City Vs Liverpool: I’m happy seeing De Bruyne upset – Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has revealed that he is happy seeing the club’s star midfielder, Kevin de Bruyne being upset.

De Bruyne was clearly displeased when he was replaced by Mateo Kovacic after 69 minutes, with City losing control of the game. The Belgium international voiced his discontent to Guardiola before taking his place on the bench.

Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday as the battle intensifies for who wins the Premier League title this season.

Addressing a post match press briefing, the coach was asked about De Bruyne not happy with his sub, and Guardiola said he liked seeing him in that emotional state.

The 53-year-old Spanish tactician said; “I’m happy to see that! I like it if he’s upset, it’s good. He’s happy now…”

Following the draw, Arsenal maintained its spot at top of the table with 64 points with a better goal difference over Liverpool and one point ahead of Manchester City.

Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn stated that he cannot wait for the British-Nigerian boxer to beat Tyson Fury after seeing him ‘destroy’ Cameroon’s Francis Ngannou.

Joshua asserted his dominance from the opening bell, scoring a huge first round knockdown when won the match after just two rounds on Friday night.

Hearn, who spoke after the bout which held at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, said he was proud of the boxing champion.

He urged Fury to defeat Oleksandr Usyk so that he can finally face the Nigerian nightmare in the ‘biggest fight in the history’ of boxing.

The British promoter said; “I am so proud of him because there was a huge amount of pressure. “On this form, there is no man that can beat him. Tyson Fury please beat Usyk because you will get the biggest fight in the history of the sport.

“He is a fighter, he is an inspiration to young people. What I said would happen, happened. He destroyed Francis Ngannou. He is a beast and I cannot wait for him to beat Tyson Fury.”
