It’s because of Nigerians I didn’t beat Portable – Kesari

TikTok influencer and event promoter, Kesari Okala, has explained why he backed out of beating famous musician, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable.

Kesari recently had an altercation with Portable in Ikeja, Lagos and he decided to break silence on the incident in a follow-up video.

Recall that they met at the Computer Village and had a heated exchange over an undisclosed issue which nearly escalated to physical violence.

But in his explanation, Kesari said the main reason he refrained from engaging in a fight with the musician is because of the wrong labeling Nigerians would have used on him.

He said he did not to be labeled as a ‘hooligan’ because that is what would have happened had he laid a hand on Portable during the confrontation.

“Okay now Nigerians, if I had handled the guy for you, you’d have called me a hooligan. Who does that? This is pain,” he said.

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported last year that Kesari challenged street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly called, Portable, to a physical bout.

He took to his social media to announce that he intended to host a fighting match where him and the Zazuu star will battle it out inside a ring.

The street entertainer asked some Lagos big men like MC Oluomo, Abu Abel, Sam Larry and others for permission to host the fight. Kesari said he does not have money to organise it, so he pleaded with some men for sponsorship.

He, however, did not share further details about why he wanted a chance to beat the Zeh Nation boss, but he seemed serious about getting Portable in a ring with him.
