That is that, meanwhile the Delta state government has started renovating of the dilapidated school which little girl who was chased away from school attends

Success went viral after she was filmed ranting about being chased away from school for not paying her school fees.

When asked why she wasn’t in school, the little girl who was obviously not happy about the situation angrily revealed that she was sent home for not paying school fees. She even ranted that her school authorities should have flogged her instead and let her stay in school, rather than chase her home.

Her video quickly went viral online and a lot of people came out to help her.

However few hours later, Investigations revealed that the girl attends Okotie Eboh 1 Primary School, Sapele. A state government owned primary school which was badly dilapidated. See photos below;

Her viral video however caught the attention of the Delta state government who had one of their officials pay her and her parents a visit in their home with gifts of cash and promised to help her family, a Twitter user @azukamukolu wrote.

The Power of Social Media at work. Little Success & her parents were paid an unscheduled visit by a Delta State Gov’t official who gifted her some money & promised to establish her parents. Thanks @_iBarelyTweet @Tutsy22 & everyone who escalated this.

After this, many slammed the government for reaching out to the little to assist her and her family, accusing the state of trying to use the publicity the situation gained to score a cheap political point. Many said that the government should rather fix the educational sector in the state, pointing out the poor infrastructural state of the school she attends. Many said that not only Success but thousands of kids in the state are in that same situation and should benefit equally from the government.

Well, new reports have revealed that the government of Delta State has ordered the immediate repair of the primary school, Okotie Eboh 1 Primary School, Sapele, which the little girl attends and work has commenced already.

A social media user identified as Nicest BarMan who took photos of the ongoing work at the school took to his Facebook page to share them and wrote;

The power of the social media at it again.

His Excelllency, Gov Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has ordered the immediate repair of the dilapidated elementary School in Sapele Delta state. All thanks to “no be say I no go pay oo and nah dem flog me tire by baby Success”.
