I was pushed out of a plane mid-air – Tems recalls most dangerous experience

Temilade Openiyi, the Nigerian Grammy winner popularly known as Tems has revealed the most dangerous activity she’s ever engaged in.

The 28-year-old songstress recalled that she once went skydiving with her cousins and was forced to out of a plane mid altitude.

Speaking in a recent interview with Elle, the ”Damages’ crooner said the daredevil experience happened because her uncle convinced them.

Tems said she changed her mind when it was time to jump because she questioned her reason or doing it in the first place, but they pushed her out of the plane.

The Interviewer asked: “What’s the most dangerous thing you’ve every done?”

Tems responded; “The most dangerous thing I’ve ever done is jump out of a plane. I don’t even know how high but I went skydiving once. And I think for a second I was like, ‘Am I dying? I don’t know who sent me to do this. I don’t know why I decided to do this but here I am falling.’

“My uncle convinced me and my cousins to jump. I was like, ‘Wow! So cool. Daredevil.’ And then we got into the plane and I was like I will just stay in the plane and they said I can’t. They pushed us out.”

Nigerian actor, Jude Chukwuka recently disclosed that he was accosted by a group of youths who believed he is the father of controversial rapper, Naira Marley.

The veteran thespian said he went to Ikorodu in Lagos state for a movie shoot when area boys surrounded him and said his son, Marley was responsible for the death of Mohbad.

Chukwuka, nicknamed Marlian daddy, went viral years ago over a video of him dancing to the ‘Soapy’ crooner’s song. He shared his scary experience during an interview on Oyinmomo TV hosted by gospel artiste, Deborah Ajayi.

He said he explained to the area boys that he cannot be the artiste’s father because their names are different, and any issues Naira Marley had with Mohbad did not involve him.

“When I went to Ikorodu for a shoot, a lot of people gathered around me to say it is my child that killed Mohbad,” Chukwuka said in part.
