Nigerian movie star, Debbie Shokoya has bemoaned the worsening economic hardship being experienced by people in the country.

The screen diva took to her Instagram page on Tuesday and lamented that the economic crunch is biting so hard that even the rich are complaining.

Debbie particularly bemoaned the skyrocketing price of rice and hinted that she is contemplating leaving Nigeria. The actress asked get fans to give suggestions on any foreign country she can easily travel to for a better life.

She wrote: “Everyday it’s getting clearer. Even the rich dey complain. Na there I con dey wonder say wetin wan happen like this… It’s not funny again ooo!! Bag of rice sold for 90k ke. Please which country can I relocate to?

CorrectNG reported earlier that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu urged Nigerians to endure the current economic hardship.

He said the current trying time was necessary for the country to have a better future, adding that the president’s recent tough decisions should have been taken years ago.

Seyi, who connveyed his message through Instagram on Monday, expressed optimism that although challenges persist, the outlook for Nigeria’s future is promising.
