Yesterday, we reported that American rapper, singer and songwriter, Kiari Kendrell Cephus who is better known by his stage name, Offset, crashed Cardi B’s set at Rolling Loud to apologize publicly on stage for hurting her and beg to be taken back by the rapper.
Stage hands wheeled giant bouquets on stage that spelled “TAKE ME BACK CARDI” in red and white roses. Then Offset appeared holding the same kind of unkillable roses Seina brought to Terrace House: Opening New Doors. He had a microphone! Who gave him a microphone? Offset probably did a mic check to beg for forgiveness from his estranged wife! “I just wanted to say I’m sorry, in person and in front of the world. I love you,” he remarked into a microphone.
The video published by The Shade Room does not show what Cardi said in response, but her body language throughout was “I’m not having it.”
Cardi B has now however reacted to Offset’s public apology at the Rolling Loud festival.
Following Offset’s apology, social media users called him out for being so insensitive and disrupting her performance. Others insulted him for not showing remorse all the while he was cheating, only to turn around and start begging for apology now that it’s too late.
The social media criticisms directed at Offset was so much that Cardi B stepped in and asked her fans to respect him because he’s still the father of her child. She pointed out that the last thing she wants is for her baby daddy to become suicidal.
When a follower suggested that Cardi’s statement means she’s taking Offset back, Cardi quickly shut the follower up. Cardi said she doesn’t know the future or what will happen then but for now, she hasn’t taken him back.
