Burna Boy reveals the beautiful thing he’s learnt about life

Ace Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, professionally known by his stage name, Burna Boy has shared a valuable lesson about life.

He said the beautiful thing about life is that there is always an opportunity to change, grow and be a better person.

The Grammy winner stated this on his Snapchat account and noted that people are not their mistakes.

Burna Boy stressed that someone who made a mistake is not defined by his or her past deed.

He wrote; “The beautiful thing about life is that you can always change, grow and get better. You aren’t defined by your past. You aren’t your mistakes.”

In other news, Damini Ogulu, the ‘Last Last’ crooner earlier revealed that he knew he had become a big artiste after a concert in 2014.

He said that was the first time he did a show in a stadium in the South-Eastern region of Nigeria and the way fans showed up in multitude made him realise he was popular.

Speaking with BBC Radio 1Xtra, Burna noted that South-East mostly like artistes from the region so it was a big deal for an outsider to be accepted by them.

The Afrobeats star said he had never seen that type of love before and he did not think it was real.

In response to a question about when he knew he was well-known, Burna said; 2014, that’s the first time I did a show in a stadium the eastern part of Nigeria.

They only like their own people, so if you’ve crossed over there and you’re not from there then you know you have popped.

I have never seen anything like that, I didn’t even think it was real (laughs) It was a real thing that could happen.
