Hours ago, Premium Times reported that Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, skipped the compulsory one year National Youth Service Corps programme for Nigerians who graduated on or below the age of 30 and forged an NYSC exemption certificate. This has been the talk of the nation ever since as many are still waiting for the accused minister to speak and others calling on the presidency to fire her as a forge cannot run the Ministry of Finance of the nation.
Well, in a bid to quash the claims made by Premium Times, APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has taken to his Facebook page to share a photo of the accused minister rocking the NYSC ceremonial dress, and this has not really gone well to end the issue but rather added to their forgery issues. He shared the photo and wrote;
PLEASE PREMIUM TIMES SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS AND REPORT BACK US. They are saying that this is photoshop. Premium Times should dig further. This must be interesting times.
Not just that the photo appears poorly photoshopped according to the reactions of many Nigerians, we all know that people who get exemptions from the NYSC programme do not get to wear the NYSC dresses as they do not participate in the programme at all. So if this be the case, how does the Finance Minister have the NYSC exemption certificate and still rock the NYSC vest? These are the questions Nigerians have been asking. See some reactions below;
